Yesterday started off without any issues, until this a:m, my husband received a call from the bank.
Last night he felt hungry after work, he decided to stop by and purchase a Subway sandwich; seems harmless right? Well being tired from a 10 hour shift at work he mistakenly left his wallet at the restaurant. Did a good citizen find it? LOL NOPE they did not. Someone who was evil and heartless found it. They took over $360.00 out of our bank account. My husband left his social security card in his wallet, and guess what that is what he chose for his pin; I know I know please no lectures; we know, A HUGE MISTAKE. We called the bank and they are going to refund us some of the money they took, the other money they took was the cash.
Ya know times are hard, this isn't right for someone to just take something, the decent thing to do would've been to turn it in. I don't know what happened to Christian people, where are they?
Completely hurt, and lost I will turn my thoughts and prayers to the Lord for answers. God bless you all.
Hugs,

I'm so sorry this has happened to you Heidi. All I can say is that their need must have been very great. At least I hope it was someone in desperate need, and not someone being greedy. I will pray that your husband's identity won't be stolen, and that this gets resolved quickly.
Take care,
Carol
Oh Heidi, how horrible! I often wonder in these times we are living in "where are people's morals??" I hope you get all the money back sweetie!!!

A long time ago I removed my SS# card from my wallet & so did DD & DH. I am so sorry that this happened to you both..... I do not believe this has anything to do with the bad economy. Some people are just plain evil & will steal from others no matter what.
I just hope they have a good reason when they meet up with their "maker" someday!!
We all will be held accountable....even thieves.
Have a Wonderful Week!!
Love,
Marilyn

Dear Heidi,
So sorry that this has happened to the money and your account. Very sorry.
Where are the Christian people...mixed in with the heathen/pagan folk that do wrong.
I have more and more respect toward those that walk up right before the Lord and it enforces the goodness of God and His ways.
God's ways are the best and He wants us to walk in His ways. Amen.
May no more damage come from this mishap. So very sorry for this loss.

Very sorry! Wow, has happened to me & they charged over $5000 in less than 30 minutes, went straight to Walmart & bought tons of Gift Cards, not only are thieves mean, but unfortunately smart. I often thought what the world would be like if everyone was good & honest.... well many would not have jobs! there is definitely job security for the Police, probation officers, judges, etc Funny to look at it that way.. Wishing a good week for you despite this!
I'm so sorry this happened to you and your family. It hurts to be violated so. We had it happen to us...One day we received a letter from Chase Bank advising my hubby that their records had been hacked, but we let it go in one ear and out the next. Then, about 10 months down the road, hubby goes to get a cell phone and finds out that he already has THREE and is behind in bills to the amount of $1229.00. Took months to straighten that out. But. your bank should not pay SOME of the money, they should pay ALL of it. Why should you be penalized for what evil people did? This makes me mad.
Mary
Oh Heidi, I am so sorry. That is a lot of money and it would hurt my bank account too. It does seem that some people just can't be honest no matter what. You are right, the Lord will bless you and poor shame on the other person. Hope your day is better. Hugs, Marty
I'm so sorry to hear that, Heidi. I know what you mean. It's so difficult to find decent people in this world anymore - but I'm blessed with my blog friends and I appreciate you so much. Just concentrate on your blessings - at least your hubby didn't get robbed and hurt. This loss is big, but at least you have each other. Those people who did that are NOT happy people, they are miserable and already received their punishment by being that way. I know it still hurts because, as you say, times are hard and money is vital.
Be blessed,
Doris :-)
Oh Heidi I am so sorry that this happened. I agree - where are the decent people these days. What a pain it is to stop all the cards and bank acct stuff and everything else that has to be replaced. The same thing happend to me during the summer. I drove off from a gas station and left my wallet on the trunk of the car. The wallet was turned into the police dept. and all cards and cash was gone. Thankfully they left my drivers license.
I'm so sorry for your loss Heidi. There are many miserable people out there anymore. I hope the bank helps you and refunds all your money..and somehow the thief is somehow caught and charged. This is just so wrong.
Blessings and wishes for a better day today, hugs from Texas....CC
It is a sad thing that there are mean and unthinking people in this world, but luckily there are also some honest and wonderful people too. It shocks though, when someone does not do the decent thing. How can people do such things. Hugs to you. suzie. xxx
I am so sorry this happened to you Heidi, it is just wrong to steal from anyone. Desperate people do desperate things and obviously this person was desperate. Keeping you and your family in my heart and prayers always......:-) Hugs
It's just so hard knowing there are people out there that would do such a horrible thing. Please remember that not all people are like that.
That is just wrong. I can't stand it when people take things that are not theirs. RUDE.
Hi Heidi,
I'm so sorry this happened Heidi.....it really makes you stop and think how some people can live with themselves.......but in the end we MUST ALL answer for our actions.....so in the end whoever did this will have to face the consequences. That doesn't make it any easier now for you in all that you must now do to protect your husbands identity. I'm so sorry.
An extra big HUG being sent your way today.
Hugs,
Lynn
I'm so sorry that this has happenend Heidi. While the thief may think that they have gotten away with this...remember......we all have to answer in the end for our actions.....that doesn't make the here and now any easier I know in trying to deal with this and alos in protecting your husbands identity. Hugs, to you , Lynn
Heidi I am so sorry this had to happen. It is hard to understand how people could be so cruel and heartless - don't worry, the Lord has his hand on you and your family in spite of this.
He will deal with these people. Will pray all is set right for you in these difficult times.
All my best my friend!
Mimi
Oh, Heidi, how sad & horrible for you. I am so sorry this happened & appreciate the bank working with you somewhat.
Some people have no conscience which is disheartening.
Sure have missed you.
Happy spring.
Have a beautiful week.
TTFN, Hugs ~ Marydon
I am so sorry, how could someone do that, I just don't get it.. God is powerful and someone will pay..

It is hard to think that so many people take the easy way and steal. I am so sorry it happened to you! It is hard everywhere but even after this you and your husband would never take money if you found a wallet. I guess we have to do our best and remember it is not the way and hope that others will follow too.
Big hugs, Lisa
Heidi, I am so sorry this happened to y'all! I understand how you feel! We lost a bunch of money in a similar way last year! {{HUGS}}
Sorry to hear this, it's a sad world out there.
Oh Heidi...so sorry someone stole the money. I pray God will make it up to you and add blessings. Praying for the thief. May they know Jesus. B
Got a challenge for ya...
Pray for them to be convicted of it either spiritually or literally
Hi Heidi!
I'm so happy you are back blogging, I've missed you for sure.
The very sad thing about this story of theft is for the one who stole it. To live with the guilt and shame...It may not be today but one day that person will remember.
This is a great opprotunity to pray for someone who is hurting and making wrong choices.
You have everything going for you, because the Lord always gives back more than what was ever taken. Rest assured, He will.
He is with you and see's it all.
Love to you,
~Jacqueline~
每一粒厄運的種子,卻包孕著未來豐盛的果實 ..................................................
I am so sorry this happened to you! I pray that God brings good out of what was meant for harm, and that He restores seven fold to you!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this background!!! And the lipstick signature? Way cool! I also love your new picture...you look like a sweet little fairy princess!
How horrible. If you believe in karma, then that person will get what's coming to them eventually. I am sure it doesn't help in the circumstances though.
I forgot to tell you last time that I love the new blog look, I wish there would be a complete 50's revival. the music, clothes, diners, jukeboxes, everything! I'd be all in!
Oh, my sweet Heidi,
I am so sorry that this happened to you both. Have faith, there are still good people out there...
even if they seem hard to find.
Love and thoughts to you!!!

Heidi,
I am so glad to see you back here in blogland. You were missed by many!
so sorry to hear about the wallet situation. It is sad.... even in this economy we hope people will still be civilized and do the right thing. Glad you got your money back.
Happy to see your weight loss journey posted to encourage us who are still batteling the budge.
Blessings always!
Gwen
I am so sorry that all that happened to you both. I know how upset you must be!

Heidi, I am so sorry that this happened to you all. What a precious, tender attitude you have to turn your thoughts and prayers to the LORD for answers - sweet! In times of uncertainty and hurt, we know that He will never fail you dear one. He is faithful. He is true! He will care for and bind your hurts.
Praying too that the LORD will draw the one who took the wallet to Himself.
Blessings to you,
Lora
Oh my gosh, this is terrible! I am glad your bank is refunding your money that was stolen. I wonder if it is possible to change your social security number (probably not)I am going to go through my wallet and take out any unnecessary information.
Heidi,
What a devastating thing to happen. I know there are good people in this world, too bad one of them didn't find your husband's wallet!
Losing the money is bad enough but when you have to recover important papers, credit cards, etc. it adds salt to the wound.
May the Lord bless you at this time.
People can be vicious and heartless, how do this type of people sleep at night I simply can’t imagine. I can never wrap my brain around a situation like this. Darling, my aunt use to say, “What the enemy takes, God replaces” of course, the correct quote is “What the devil takes, God replaces” however, my auntie changed it to her liking. Stay strong and focus, this is only a material possession, as long as all of you have your good health, the rest is solvable. Heidi darling have missed you terribly. Several times I visited your blog and left greetings for you. I am so glad to see you posting again, only I wish it was on a happier note. Take care my darling and stay strong.
Love & Hugs

Ugh! I am so sorry! How can people do things like this? You know....I am so naive sometimes. I think that because I would never do something like this, that no one would either. It really is an eye opener for us all. Sending big hugs.
Sandra
a similar incident happened to me but for a much LARGER amount. The cleaning woman got into my bank account and did on-line gambling. The Bank of America saw suspicious activity, closed my account, and reimbursed the WHOLE amount within a week
Please send me your email address along with your mailing address--I would like to help you out on your loss.
Blessings from The Woodlands TX

Here I am, a lowly little Atheist saying that if I had found your wallet, I would have returned it, money and cards intact. One does not have to believe in God to have respect for other human beings.
Sorry this happened to you and I hope that things are set right for you very soon.
