Holiday Treats

First I would like to thank a special friend Sue, who sent me this delightful fairy and a card. Thank you so much for sending this too me, you are right God did know what he was doing, I have not had a very good week, bad news all around, I thank you from the bottom of my heart Sweet Sue. If you haven't visited her please do so, she will delight you.

Isn't this fairy beautiful?

Well I decided to give it a go and make my own chocolate covered pretzels.

These are all the goodies I started with.

Here is the finished product. I stuck them inside a little porcelain ginger bread house.

Lets take a closer look at those treats shall we?

This is a jar I painted to make it look more festive with the chocolate covered pretzels.

I hope everyone had a wonderful time looking at all the Chocolate covered pretzels. I finally finished finals, I will be able to blog a little more now YEAH! I will surely post the grades when they come in next week. I will give you a hint, I know I have 2 A's we will see what the others scores are like very soon.

There is something that has come up and I am in need of prayers, I can not explain what they are for as of yet,me and my husband do not want everyone to know or worry, but please pray for us. It is in regards to health.

Blessings to everyone the week's almost over.

I am so thrilled to find your blog. I love it! Everything from the kitty blinking in the hat box to all of the fairies! I love fairies and started collecting them last year. I just had my picture taken with the Disney fairies at Disneyland in Sept.
I can't wait to go through the rest of your blog. I just started my blog this week and am really having fun with it. My Feathered Nest

Congrats on your grades! Good for you, I know it can't be easy to maintain such grades and have a family to take care of. Your fairy is beautiful, what a thoughtful gift! Your pretzels look yummy and pretty too. I usually just coves the mini pretzel twists in white chocolate. They are smaller then you feel so guilty when you eat several!
I will certainly send up prayer for you Heidi, I hope whatever the situation is, you have the strength to handle it.

Heidi,
Congratulations on those A's, and I am sure the rest of the grades will be equally as brilliant. I am sorry you had a bad week. I love your pretzels and they have surely made me hungry. This music is haunting. When I lived in Hong Kong there was a place in our complex called the Tea House and this Kenny G music always was playing in the background. So many wonderful memories.

I pray that the rest of your days will be filled with God's grace.

Dearest Heidi,
I'm happy you liked the Christmas gnome card...I have a quote today for you...
"When you have a God-sized challenge, self-sufficiency is no longer an option". I read it in my God moment journal this morning. I'm facing one of those challenges in my work right now, not sure if I'll even have a job tomorrow. On my knees relying on God.
Your heart shared with me yesterday on my post about my mom was so encouraging and so helpful for me. So, was your moms. I'm so thankful for both of you. Yes, I'll pray on your behalf. Remember to praise him in the storm! My daughter always reminds me of that and it helps so much.

I can just picture you in your kitchen, feeling a little blue while you decorate your pretzels. They say love goes into every homemade treat, but sometimes that love is bittersweet. I will pray for you, and believe for a miracle healing in Jesus name.
