My Holiday Hero

I would like to dedicate this post to my mother, she has just had one of those days. I want you to know mom, you are my best friend, you have always been there for me, and I will always be there for you no matter what. I love you with all my heart. I will be your shoulder to cry on; always. When you need a hug, my arms will always be open, you are the other piece of my heart, we swapped remember?

Our friendship started off here 31 years ago..

I know look how cute I look lol...

Me, you, Granny, and my Little Destiny when she was a baby (4 Generations).

You and Dad on your Oregon Vacation

You in your apron.

I love you mom, please stay and listen to this song mom it will touch your heart. I went to get a Christmas song, if you scroll down to the music player you will see this song was meant for you, it was mis-marked and I knew God wanted me to show it to you.

Thank you everyone for stopping by today, and taking a stroll down memory lane with me.

Oh My Precious Heidi Girl...
You have so touched my heart today. (It was just one of those days when I wish I could've stayed in bed, and just pulled the covers over my head, and you my sweet angel have come to my rescue. Thank you for the beautiful post, and the wonderful hug. It's just what the Dr. ordered.)

Hugs and so many kisses right back at you. Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings today.

I love you sweet Heidi Girl.

Dear Heidi,
I came here to thank you for your post on my weight loss blog, but now I am thinking about your dear mother. I hope it is nothing serious. If so , I will be happy to add her to my prayer list, which I just updated this morning.
I will pop over and say hi to her. Blessings and hugs!

Oh, Heidi ~ How sweet & precious of you. A lot of events have occurred lately, sadly so ... & then the light shines thru & behold! many things are cemented forever.

I am so grateful that a mere couple weeks ago a dilemma in my life occurred to show me that a decision I nearly made would have been a serious loss, it will now never have to occur ... not only does prayer help guide us thru the difficult times but our intuition is a valuable guide to listen to.

Thank God for helping me NOT MAKE A MISTAKE in judgement ... your Mother is a wonderful, precious lady ...

LOVE that apron ...

Hugs of love to you both, Marydon

PS We received your parcel in the mail ... we love it & thank you.

Oh, Heidi, that is so adorable! I'm glad you dedicated this post to your mom. My holiday and every day hereo is my Oma, whom I've only known for 12 years, but she left such an impression that I will never forget her. She had a way of making a house a home and she was my example of how a Mensch is supposed to be. I know she's watching over me and she's in my heart forever and ever!

Have a nice day my friend,
Doris :-)

Awww, Heidi, this is so sweet. I'm sorry your awesome Mom is having a bad day. But this should cheer her up. If one of my kids ever posted anything so sweet I would just faint away from heart failure! I'm glad that you have this special bond with your Mom!

Heidi,
What a BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE to your Mom. My Dad always used to say "never be afraid to tell your parents you LOVE them and never be afraid to show them". My Dad kissed his own parents EVERY time he saw them...till the day they died...and he openly told them how much he loved them. I lost my Dad in 2000 but I know he KNEW how very much I loved him because I always told him. His lesson was a lesson I will never forget. I taught my own children that very lesson....what a beautiful lesson you shall pass to your children.
Bless you,
Hugs,
Lynn
